How does a mobile massage session work?
We bring the entire day-spa experience directly to your home, office, or hotel. Your therapist will arrive roughly 20 to 25 minutes before your scheduled hands-on time to set up the professional massage table, fresh linens, ambient music, and oils. This window also allows for a brief, relaxed consultation to discuss your goals for the session. All you need to provide is a quiet space for the setup.
What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?
To get the most out of your session, we recommend choosing a quiet room away from household distractions and setting the thermostat to a comfortable, warm temperature — bodies tend to cool down during a massage. Please ensure pets are secured in another room so your therapist can safely bring in equipment and focus entirely on your bodywork.
How much space is required for the setup?
A standard professional massage table needs a workspace of about 8 feet by 10 feet. A living room, large bedroom, or home office usually works perfectly. If you are unsure whether a room is large enough, a good rule of thumb is ensuring there is enough space to walk completely around a twin-sized bed.
What should I wear during the massage?
You should undress to your individual comfort level. Many clients prefer to undress completely, while others leave their undergarments on. You will be professionally draped with a sheet and blanket at all times, and your therapist will only uncover the specific area of the body currently being worked on. Your comfort and modesty are our absolute priorities.
What areas do you travel to, and are there travel fees?
Our standard service area includes Flint, Fenton, Grand Blanc, and Linden. Travel costs are built into the session price for these locations. We are happy to travel to neighboring communities outside these specific cities for a modest $15 travel fee to cover the additional time and mileage.
What is your cancellation and safety policy?
Because mobile therapists dedicate specific travel and setup windows to each client, we require 24-hour notice for all cancellations or rescheduling. No-calls and no-shows will be charged the full price of the scheduled service.
Additionally, for the mutual safety of our clients and therapists, we maintain a strict professional-only policy. Any illicit or inappropriate remarks, gestures, or requests will result in the immediate termination of the session at the full cost of the service.
